Pastor Mike and his wife Cyndi are both from Albertville and have served churches in Alabama, Louisiana, and Montana. The Johnson's have two sons: Timothy and his wife, Krissy, and Stephen and his wife, Jamie. They have four grandchildren; Henry, James, Alice, and Oliver. 

Pastor Mike and Cyndi both are graduates of Samford University and Pastor Mike attended seminary at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and holds a Doctor of Ministries Degree from Atlantic Coast Theological Seminary of Daytona, Florida. Throughout the course of his ministry, Pastor Mike has been deeply involved in Vacation Bible School, Sunday School and Discipleship. He has served various times on the state VBS leadership teams both in Montana and Alabama, and has written several articles about the value of VBS in church growth published in Growing Churches and in Sunday School Leadership magazines. He has twice been an instructor on the national Lifeway VBS team leading the conference for directors and Pastor/ Evangelism. Pastor Mike has served two terms as Moderator and as Mission Development Director of the Marshall Baptist Association. 

Pastor Mike and Cyndi's passion is to help Christians understand their identity in Christ and fulfill the ministry that God has for each of his children.
